You will be the engine behind our hardware operations:

• Hardware lifecycle management: Maintain strict ERP discipline across inventory, parts, repairs, replacements, and field assets.

• Design for scale: Improve hardware designs to reduce installation time, increase reliability, and lower production cost.

• Operational excellence: Build and optimize the “machine” that makes hardware deployment never become a bottleneck.

• Scaling through contractors: Recruit, train, and manage contractors as deployment volume grows.

• Customer onboarding on-site: Travel to customer facilities and lead hardware installation and commissioning. This will be mostly relevant in the first 1-2 quarters.

• In-person in Berlin (for the first few months)

• Willingness to drive across DACH / NL, 2–5 times/month initially

• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)

• Strong understanding of CAM, sheet metal fabrication, material science

• Basic electronics knowledge, or strong willingness to learn

• Demonstrated experience with version control + strong documentation discipline

• Fluent in German or Dutch (spoken)

• Deep exposure to electronics, sheet metal fabrication, FDM, and full hardware manufacturing– we build hardware at the speed of software! 

• Ownership of the full lifecycle: design → production → installation → maintenance → scale
