You will be the engine behind our hardware operations:
Hardware lifecycle management: Maintain strict ERP discipline across inventory, parts, repairs, replacements, and field assets.
Design for scale: Improve hardware designs to reduce installation time, increase reliability, and lower production cost.
Operational excellence: Build and optimize the “machine” that makes hardware deployment never become a bottleneck.
Scaling through contractors: Recruit, train, and manage contractors as deployment volume grows.
Customer onboarding on-site: Travel to customer facilities and lead hardware installation and commissioning. This will be mostly relevant in the first 1-2 quarters.
In-person in Berlin (for the first few months)
Willingness to drive across DACH / NL, 2–5 times/month initially
Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)
Strong understanding of CAM, sheet metal fabrication, material science
Basic electronics knowledge, or strong willingness to learn
Demonstrated experience with version control + strong documentation discipline
Fluent in German or Dutch (spoken)
Deep exposure to electronics, sheet metal fabrication, FDM, and full hardware manufacturing– we build hardware at the speed of software!
Ownership of the full lifecycle: design → production → installation → maintenance → scale
Opportunity to design components that will be installed in thousands of facilities worldwide
Your own workspace and lab tools and you will get exposed to top suppliers, manufacturers and partners in the space of sensing, telecommunications, microprocessors, optics, metal work, and of course, IoT in general.
